The Labour Ministry published on Thursday the long-awaited actuarial study that accompanies the pension reform outlining the key factors that had a negative impact on the sustainability of the Greek pension system.

The prolonged economic crisis had a negative impact on employment as well as on the income of self-employed reducing the pension system revenues from their contributions, while increased retirement resulted in a notable rise in the number of pensioners.
