SYRIZA heading for Independent Greeks coalition, with uncertain consequences
Final election results in Greece confirmed what had been expected in the last few days: A convincing win for SYRIZA that leaves the leftist party without a parliamentary majority.
As the infographic below shows, SYRIZA has won just short of 36.5 percent of the vote, with New Democracy on 27.8 percent. Golden Dawn is in 3rd, followed by To Potami, the Communist Party (KKE), Independent Greeks and PASOK.
