The government has received 11 expressions of interest in the new TV broadcasting licenses it plans to put to tender in August.

Seven existing channels and four new parties, including firms that reportedly represent businessmen and football club owners Evangelos Marinakis and Ivan Savvidis, submitted their applications by yesterday’s deadline.
