Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras attempted this week to dampen the latest round of speculation regarding when the next general elections might be held.
The conjecture was partly fuelled by parliamentary speaker and SYRIZA MP Nikos Voutsis suggesting to journalists that the ballot may be held as the same time as European Parliament elections in May 2019.
