Greek deposits down 0.3 pct in Feb, credit contraction stable

Greek private sector deposits fell 0.3 percent month on month (MoM) in February, with balances reaching 160.54 billion euros, according to the Bank of Greece (BoG).

Net flow remained negative for the second month in a row with outflows easing to 318 million in February from 2.39 billion in January more than counterbalancing the coincidental inflows of 2.35 billion recorded in December.
