It was confirmed on Thursday that the path is now clear for Greece to receive its 5.7-billion-euro tranche after completing the third review.

The news came as the European Commission appeared to indicate that it is not willing to make major concessions in order to keep the International Monetary Fund involved in the Greek programme.
