Greeks' wages fell more than 10 pct in 2013, IKA data shows

Average wages in Greece fell by more than 10 percent in 2013, according to data published by the Social Insurance Institute (IKA), the country’s main social security organisation.

IKA found that the average gross monthly wage of workers registered with the fund fell to 1,265.08 euros in December 2013, which was 10.27 percent lower than a year earlier. The daily rate worked out at 54.66 euros.
