Greece ranks 43rd in impact on global innovation

Society

Greece is an “innovation follower”, meaning it does not contribute to innovation globally but, at the same time, does not actively detract from it either, a report that assesses the economic and trade policies of 56 countries.

The report, published last month by the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF), ranked Greece 43rd, placing it in the same “innovation follower” category as Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Italy, Mexico, Kenya, Peru and South Africa.
