Piraeus Bank posts minor losses in Q4, almost breaking even for 2016

Piraeus Bank concluded the release of Greek banks’ fourth quarter (Q4) results on Friday evening by announcing that it posted net losses of 17.7 million euros in Q4 from profits of 30.6 million in the previous quarter.

For the whole year, the bank reported an almost break-even bottom-line result (-3.7 million) from huge losses of 1.86 billion euros in 2015 dragged down by extended impairment losses of 3.49 billion.
