ELSTAT publishes data on bankruptcies since 2004, showing deterioration during crisis


The Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) released for the first time on Friday bankruptcy statistics based on bankruptcy court orders from 2004 to 2014.

In addition, 50 perent of the eligible bankruptcy petitions related to companies that were declared bankrupt. It is worth noting that in absolute terms the number of declared bankruptcies was reduced during the crisis years.
