Number of new companies registering in 2016 half of those in 2008

The number of new companies registered in Greece in 2016 fell by 33 percent from 2012 and halved compared to the 2008 figure, a study by Endeavor Greece titled “Greek Entrepreneurship in Numbers” revealed on Wednesday.

The study was based on figures from the General Electronic Commercial Registry (GEMI).
