Record year for company launches in 2018, small enterprises continue to dominate
There was a 2.1 percent increase in new companies forming in 2018 compared to 2017. Respectively, companies that delisted from GEMI fell by 32 percent during the same period.
The next most popular category was private equity societies, with 8,793 such companies opening in 2018 and 965 closing.
