The subject of the overseas vote has emerged once again as a hot topic in Greece, after recent reports linked the planned enrolment campaign to New Democracy’s political strategy for the next elections.
A recent front-page article in Ta Nea, a government-friendly daily, claimed that the ruling party is targeting a pool of up to 800,000 overseas voters who could be eligible to vote remotely in the next elections.
