Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s visit to Washington started on a cordial note, giving the government in Athens some positive news on the international scene after a bruising few weeks struggling to contain the cost-of-living crisis at home.
Government sources have expressed their satisfaction from the first day of Mitsotakis’s visit at the invitation of President Biden, noting that the Greek side was impressed by the host’s warm welcome and detailed knowledge of Greek affairs.
