Parties balanced finely as build-up to next elections gathers pace
As speculation continues about the timing of the next elections, opinion polls are still suggesting that there can be no clear winner at the next ballot and that a second vote, under the electoral law passed by the current government, or even a coalition could be needed to form the next administration.
A new opinion by Kapa Research for Iefimerida news website gives New Democracy an 8.1-point lead over SYRIZA, although the gap between the two parties has narrowed since the company’s last such survey in February.
