As the European Commission and EU member states continue to wrestle with proposals for some form of cap on the price of natural gas, Energy Minister Kostas Skrekas announced yet another package of measures aimed at cushioning the impact of high energy costs on Greek consumers.
Greece has been spearheading a proposal for an EU-wide cap on the price of all natural gas imports, and has so far gained the support of 15 other member states.
