Greece is headed for a re-run of last Sunday’s elections after the two main parties turned down the opportunity to start coalition talks.

New Democracy failed to secure an outright majority despite a last-minute landslide at the polls, and with no alliances in the making it is expected that fresh elections will be held in a few weeks’ time.
