The privatisation of Athens International Airport last week has been celebrated by the government as a major step forward for the Greek economy, confirming its return to a path of growth.

Opposition parties, however, are beginning to question the wisdom of key privatisation deals, arguing that New Democracy is prioritising positive spin over the country’s long-term interests.
