The government is trying to regroup after a testing few days last week, during which Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis came under renewed fire over his handling of the Tempe train crash investigation while also losing two of his closest aides.

The premier will try to put recent troubling developments behind him by continuing to tour the country this week ahead of the New Democracy’s party conference, which is due to begin in Athens on Friday.
