After his meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on Monday, which laid to rest any concern about a flare-up in relations between the two countries, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is returning to the campaign trail ahead of the European Parliament elections.
He is due to visit Thrace in northeastern Greece on Tuesday just hours after SYRIZA leader Stefanos Kasselakis’s tour of the area to meet officials, business owners and voters.
