Polls provide little comfort for opposition parties ahead of EP elections
The opposition parties can find little to cheer about in the flurry of opinion polls being published ahead of the June 9 elections as they have started to consistently show that New Democracy is heading for a comfortable victory.
All the indications are that SYRIZA and PASOK will fail to make a significant dent in ND’s political dominance and that the best they can hope for are to take some crumbs of comfort from the upcoming vote.
