                    New Democracy looks to be on course to get what Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis would consider a respectable result in the European Parliament elections, according to two new polls. However, one of the surveys has cast doubt on whether SYRIZA will come second, ahead of PASOK.
A GPO poll for Star TV project New Democracy to receive 33.1 pct on June 9, which is very close to the share of the vote that ND gained in the last EP vote five years ago. This is the target that Mitsotakis has set for the upcoming ballot.
