Campaigns reach conclusion as polls indicate surprises are unlikely

Ahead of Sunday’s vote, Greece’s political leaders are wrapping up what has been a somewhat erratic campaign for the European Parliament elections. Opinion polls continue to suggest that the ballot box will not spring any major surprises.
A Marc poll for ANT-1 TV published on Thursday indicated that New Democracy is on course to win a projected 33 pct of the vote, followed by SYRIZA on 16.6 pct and PASOK on 11.7 pct.
