The government in Athens is taking stock of its migrant reception facilities as the broadening of the conflict in the Middle East threatens a new wave of displacements in the region.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will be chairing a meeting of the national security council KYSEA on Wednesday afternoon to coordinate Greece’s actions in response to the latest developments, and specifically the emergency in Lebanon.
