Lukewarm ratings continue to cause tensions within New Democracy, with cabinet members on the receiving end of hostile questions from government lawmakers over issues ranging from foreign policy to energy prices.

The so-called “emailgate” affair has come back to haunt the party, after the data protection watchdog fined New Democracy and two individuals for misusing voter information in the EP election campaign.
