Stage set for censure motion as Parliament votes to review charges against deputy minister
The Greek Parliament approved on Tuesday night the formation of a preliminary inquiry into the role of Deputy Civil Protection Minister Christos Triantopoulos over the handling of the Tempe train crash site in the days after the fatal accident two years ago.
It is expected that the opposition parties will also table a censure motion against the government this Wednesday as part of their effort to keep up the pressure on Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis over his administration's handling of the affair.
