A renewed attempt by opposition parties to bring government politicians to account for its handling of the 2023 Tempe crash looks set for a premature end, as New Democracy lawmakers will vote to send former deputy minister Christos Triantopoulos straight to court.
The manoeuvre by New Democracy has resulted in tensions within PASOK, which spearheaded the move to bring Triantopoulos before a preliminary inquiry in Parliament, over the wisdom of the move.
