It looks like the latest showdown between the government and the opposition over the Tempe issue is due to begin next week, when PASOK is expected to propose that the immunity of former Transport Minister Kostas Karamanlis be lifted so that he can face felony, rather than misdemeanour, charges in connection to Greece’s deadliest train accident.
