Mitsotakis burnishes European contacts as legal wrangling continues at home

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is doing what, arguably, he is most comfortable with, which is striding the European stage, as legal issues continue to cause friction between his government and the opposition parties at home.
Mitsotakis held talks with his Italian counterpart Georgia Meloni in Rome on Monday. He will follow this by meeting with the new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz in Berlin on Tuesday.
