Polls indicate PM’s tax-cut offer fails to move needle as voters remain pessimistic, concerned

Two more new opinion polls (Metron Analysis for Mega TV and MRB for Open TV) have indicated that although the tax cuts announced recently by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis have been welcomed by some voters, they do not seem to have moved the needle in terms of support for his New Democracy party.

The impression given by the surveys that have been published in the last two weeks is that neither the policy announcements made by Mitsotakis, nor the pledges made by opposition leaders, have had a material impact on the political landscape. The polls ...
