Government's ongoing stand-off with livestock breeders heralds resurgence of farming protests
PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with livestock breeders in an effort to put out the dying embers of the farmers’ protests that have troubled him for weeks, but with questions still being asked about the government's approach to sheep pox.
Representatives of livestock breeders were invited to meet the prime minister on Monday to discuss the challenges facing the sector and hear the solutions proposed by the government for the ongoing sheep pox crisis.
