Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has issued a pointed call for unity within New Democracy, urging the party’s traditional right‑wing base to rally behind him as the countdown to the 2027 general election begins.

Speaking at a party event on Monday, he framed the coming year as decisive not only for his government but for the country’s direction in an increasingly volatile international environment.
