In a sign of rising tensions within New Democracy, lawmakers from the ruling conservative party have taken aim at Kyriakos Mitsotakis’s inner circle over what they say is an over-concentration of power in the PM’s office which marginalises elected representatives.
The development comes as the government faces sustained attack from the opposition over the Supreme Court’s decision to shelve further judicial investigations into the Predator spyware case.
