PM tries to rally party as draft budget lands, while Tsipras and Androulakis renew attacks
Kyriakos Mitsotakis sought to rally New Democracy on Monday evening as his government tabled the draft 2027 budget in Parliament, using the party’s 52nd anniversary celebration to try to project unity, stability and resolve at a moment when political pressures are intensifying.
The prime minister’s message was that ND must enter the long pre‑electoral period as a disciplined, cohesive force capable of navigating what he described as “very turbulent waters” in the global economy.
