The government passed the latest multi-bill needed for another 12 billion euros in bailout loans and bank recapitalisation funds through Parliament on Thursday night but at a considerable cost.

Two MPs, one from each of the governing parties, failed to back the legislation and were ousted from the SYRIZA and Independent Greeks (ANEL) parliamentary groups respectively.
