A meeting of SYRIZA’s central committee over the weekend resulted in the party agreeing to hold its congress in mid-October, substantially later than initially scheduled.
Originally, the gathering had been expected during the summer, once the programme review had been completed. However, this was then pushed back to September, before the final date for October was agreed.
