Multi-bill approved, coalition looks for positive news to fend off opposition attacks
The Greek government is edging closer to clinching the next disbursement of bailout funds, which apart from providing a timely boost to finances, will also provide some positive news to counter the recent negativity surrounding the coalition.
The multi-bill of measures aimed at completing most of the 15 milestones needed to trigger the release of the next 2.8 billion euros was supported by 152 MPs, all from the government, while all the opposition lawmakers voted against the legislation.
