Mitsotakis urges ND renewal, challenges PM over surplus
The need for a renewal of political staff was one of the main themes of the speech given by New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis to his MPs on Wednesday amid a 48-hour media blackout due to a strike by journalists.
“Renewal is a necessity,” Mitsotakis told his party’s 76 lawmakers. “The renewal will go ahead. The party will continue to broaden and grow.”
