Coalition seeks to remove review obstacles, turn up pressure on opposition

Overcoming the obstacles standing in the way of the completion of the third review, as well as stoking its rivalry with the main opposition appear to be the two things that are uppermost in the government’s mind at the moment.

Despite encouraging words from European officials following Monday’s Eurogroup, the potential hold-up in the electronic auctions, which are due to begin at the end of the month, was highlighted as a possible spanner in the works.
