Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras has asked SYRIZA MPs and members to refrain from speculating about the next elections as polls continue to show the government suffering wear and tear from its handling of foreign policy issues in particular.
Tsipras spoke at a meeting of SYRIZA’s political secretariat on Saturday, when he reportedly called for the party to cease discussing publicly when elections might be held. The prime minister was also due to address SYRIZA’s parliamentary group on Monday.
