Mitsotakis scoffs at coalition's MoU exit strategy, challenges PM to elections
In his attempt to reveal weaknesses in the government’s bailout exit strategy, New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis has challenged Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras to call snap elections this year.
Speaking to party officials on Friday, Mitsotakis argued that the coalition’s clean exit narrative does not stand up to any scrutiny and suggested that it would be rejected by voters in the event of a general election later this year.
