The coalition is bracing itself for another round of protests over the Macedonia name talks, which remain finely balanced and a source of major domestic political friction.

Demonstrations are due to take place in more than a dozen Greek cities on Wednesday to protest plans to allow the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) to use the term “Macedonia” in a newly-agreed name settlement.
