New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis help up Cyprus as an example that Greece should follow in the coming years in order to achieve a higher rate of growth.

While the opposition leader was seeking inspiration abroad, the government became mired at home as a once powerful ally, shipping magnate, media tycoon and Olympiakos football club owner Vangelis Marinakis, turned his fire on SYRIZA.
