Tsakalotos douses talk of Tsipras facing post-election leadership challenge
Given that SYRIZA is expected to lose the July 7 elections, questions are being asked about the party’s future and whether Alexis Tsipras will be in a position to continue as party leader.
Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos sought on Thursday to douse any speculation that he, or anyone else, might challenge Tsipras for the leadership of the party if SYRIZA loses to New Democracy.
