SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras attempted to set the tone for his party in opposition when he appeared at the Thessaloniki Expo over the weekend, ahead of internal meetings aimed at shaping the future of the left-wing grouping.
The comment that grabbed the headlines over the weekend was that SYRIZA would be “constructive” in opposition. However, Tsipras followed this up by making it clear that his party would be in fighting mood whenever necessary.
