The government is gearing up for the announcement of a new set of measures to help struggling businesses as the lockdown looks set to stretch well into April.

It was confirmed over the weekend that the closure of most stores will be extended until April 11, while government officials indicated that the lockdown would likely be in place for Greek Orthodox Easter, which is on Sunday, April 19.
