Tsipras struggles to revive and repackage SYRIZA
Opposition leader Alexis Tsipras is still struggling to find his footing since last year’s elections and the much-advertised shift towards the centre-left, with the aim of attracting a greater number of voters, has not yet materialised for SYRIZA.
Opinion polls continue to show the left-wing party trailing New Democracy by a distance. According to the most recent survey, by Pulse for Skai TV last week, support for the ruling centre-right party stands at 42.5 pct against 23 pct for SYRIZA.
