There was a slight de-escalation in Greece’s latest stand-off with Turkey in the Aegean over the weekend, following a particularly tense few days for Athens.
Ankara did not send out the Oruc Reis research vessel in the days following the issuing of a controversial NAVTEX maritime advisory that Greece felt covered an area of its continental shelf.
