Greece’s travel balance recorded a surplus of 2.06 billion euros in September, from 815.6 million euros a year ago, according to Bank of Greece (BoG) data released on Monday.
Although the performance more than doubled, the balance is well below the 2.67 billion euros seen in September 2019. However, the sector continues to cover lost ground following 2020, which was dominated by the pandemic.
