Travel surplus of 1.27 bln in Oct as receipts reach 58 pct of 2019 levels in 10 months
Greece’s travel balance recorded a surplus of 1.27 billion euros in October, from 2.06 billion euros in September, according to Bank of Greece (BoG) data released on Wednesday.
The latest data is encouraging because aside from more than doubling from the roughly 490 million euros figure last year, it is even higher than the 1.2 billion euros recorded in October 2019.
